Life on the field can be tough. Field workers navigate complex issues they seldom if ever have to face living in the U.S., such as unimaginable poverty and security concerns. Add isolation, spiritual oppression, language learning, and culture shock to the mix, and it’s easy to understand why so many long-term workers return home prematurely.
Well-designed pre-field training can make the difference between successfully riding the waves of adversity—or being tossed in the undertow and pummeled. Studio brings together knowledge, skills, practical experience, and character to produce a program that helps you grow in Christ and develop the competence and resiliency that leads to fruitfulness.

Preparation to launch church planting movements in the most unreached, challenging places on earth
PRACTICAL TRAINING
Practical adult-oriented training in the mornings with direct application and ministry in the afternoons
MINISTRY TO MUSLIMS
Life-on life with Muslims including service projects, Bible studies, language learning and friendships
PRAYER & SPIRITUAL GROWTH
Cultivation of Christlikeness through spiritual practices like daily devotions, scripture memory and fellowship

Training by veteran field workers with diverse backgrounds and 250+ years of combined experience

Living together and practicing relational skills that contribute to healthy team dynamics on the field
MENTORING RELATIONSHIPS
1-to-1 mentoring with a veteran field worker for spiritual formation and field-related coaching
FAMILY & TCK PREPARATION
Robust curriculum made just for kids to prepare them for the challenges of living on the field
CONTINUING ON-FIELD SUPPORT
Consulting and coaching by Studio staff for two years after initial training, as requested by interns
